Jácome Armas is 27 years old and is a native from Horta, Faial, from where he departed 10 years ago to study Engineering Physics at the University of Aveiro. Under the Erasmus program, went to Ireland to study Theoretical Physics for a year at Trinity College, Dublin. After completing his degree, he went to England to complete a Masters in Advanced Studies in Mathematics at Cambridge University. Jácome recently completed a PhD in Black Holes at the Niels Bohr Institute for Astronomy and Physics in Copenhagen, capital of Denmark, has now moved to Switzerland where he will collaborate with the group of Theoretical Physics at the University and at Bern and the CERN, which has the largest particle accelerator. The newest and latest Prestige Azores Network Advisor continues to maintain a strong connection to the archipelago, both for family reasons and because of some projects, like the association to the newspaper “Fazendo” and participation in the project "O Experimentar Na M’Incomoda".
